Fellowship at Lakewood Baptist
We believe in a vibrant faith and a fellowship that sustains you. Regardless of where you stand on your path, whether you are exploring spirituality for the first time or have been a believer for decades, you belong in this space. At Lakewood Baptist, friendship is rooted in authentic bonds. Through our small groups, outreach, and praise, we foster environments to heal, connect, and serve. Every individual is valued. You are not meant to walk this path alone. Here, you will discover a family that supports you, prays for you, and matures with you in Christ.

What We Hold
Our Core Values and Faith
Seeking Holiness Through Divine Sanctification
- Scripture is the breathed, unique, and final word of God. We serve one God, existing forever in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, His birth by a virgin, His life without sin, and His divine works. We trust in His sacrificial death, His physical return to life, His seat at the Father’s side, and His glorious second coming to earth. We look to the blessed hope—the gathering of the Church at Christ's return. Purity from sin comes only through turning toward God and trusting in the blood of Christ. Being born again by the Spirit is required for salvation. The Work of Christ on the cross offers physical restoration through faithful petition. We rely on the Spirit’s power to live a life set apart for God. We believe in the final judgment of all, leading to either eternal life or eternal separation.
Biblical Foundations:
Acts 2:42-47 They devoted themselves to the teaching of the apostles and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common. They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved. (KJV)
